Authorized officials of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs, together with police officers from other police agencies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, successfully implemented a joint criminal-tactical action called "Raid" in the wider area of the Temporary Reception Center Blažuj.
Acting in accordance with the Law on Foreigners, the Service for Foreigners' Affairs issued a decision on expulsion for 19 persons and determined the measures of placing them under supervision at the Immigration Center in Istočno Sarajevo, from where they will be removed from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Authorized officials of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs together with police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), the Border Police of BiH, the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton in the early morning hours inside of TRC Blažuj participated in the aforementioned action, where measures and actions under the jurisdiction of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs were taken.
The Service for Foreigners' Affairs will continue to undertake measures and actions in the following period within its jurisdiction, and will strengthen activities and cooperation with other police agencies on the territory of BiH regarding the control of foreign citizens, all with the aim of increasing the level of security, as in the Temporary Reception Centers Blažuj and Ušivak, as well as in the area of Sarajevo Canton and the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
