Today, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Staša Košarac, together with the Advisor to the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, Mr. Branislav Okuk, visited the Service for Foreigners' Affairs. At the very beginning, Director Žarko Laketa welcomed and thanked those present for the visit.
The meeting was dedicated to current issues and challenges regarding the current migrant situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, foreign citizens who reside or wish to reside in our country.
Director Žarko Laketa, informed the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Staša Košarac, and the Advisor to the President of the Republika Srpska, Branislav Okuka, about the current activities that are being carried out in this period in the domain of work and competence of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs in the context of managing migration flows, the SFA's results achieved , and there was talk about staffing needs in it.
Director Laketa presented the vision and mission of the Service for Foreigners' Affair to the guests, and his vision is that SFA would be as important as possible when it comes to combating irregular migration, while at the same time preserving security and order in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the SFA's mission is to provide effective services to all foreign citizens, with the aim of facilitating their legal stay in our country.
