Today, Director of the JCP, Mr. Berndt Koerner, visited the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs. He was welcomed by Director Žarko Laketa together with his associates, and expressed him welcome and hospitality.
The visit included a working meeting where both directors discussed the continuation of long-standing cooperation, and the focus of the meeting was on improving cooperation between the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs and JCP.
Director Laketa emphasized that international cooperation is always welcome and useful for the SFA. He insisted that only we can with joint efforts contribute to better migration management in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in region too.
During the visit, Director Koerner and Director Laketa visited the Immigration Center of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs and the BiH Border Police, where they got familiar with the current situation and activities of the Immigartion Center, but as well the BiH BP.
At the end of meeting, Director Laketa emphasized the results of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs in the last year, stressing that the results achieved by the SFA, are not only a success for Bosnia and Herzegovina but also for the entire region.
