The representatives of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs attended a workshop that brought together representatives of the PR sector of security institutions, agencies and services from Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with representatives of the media and civil society organizations from BiH and Montenegro. The activity aimed to harmonize key messages, recommendations and guidelines for communicating content on migration, asylum and return in the Western Balkans, with a focus on demonstrating unity in the regional approach to this topic.
Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and network in the field of public relations and communication on migration flows, with a review of the advantages and challenges of the current narrative on migration.
The activity was implemented within the project "Strengthening the Management of Migration, Asylum and Return Processes in the Western Balkans", implemented by Hilfswerk International in cooperation with the Joint Coordination Platform (JCP), and funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Austria.
