Delegation of Joint Commission for Supervision of Work of Intelligence – Security Agency with their chairman Nikola Špirić paid a visit today ( 29/11/2016) to the Service for Foreigners Affairs, and had a meeting with director Slobodan Ujić, and his closest associates.
It had been discussed on the implementation of the Law on protection of secret data, current migrant crisis, priorties of work and additional strengthening of Service's capacity.
Members of the Joint Commission for Supervision of Work of Intelligence-Security Agency had emphasized the high level of implementation of the Law on protection of secret data in Service for Foreigners' Affairs, and gave their full support to the future work of Service for Foreigners' Affairs.
Director Ujić used opportunity to introduce members of Commission about events regarding to the migrant crisis, and emphasized that the Service follows current events in region related to the routes of movement for migrants.
An excellent cooperation of Service for Foreigners' Affairs and Intelligence- Security Agency has been highlighted, in the process of performing the security checks for foreign citizens from security-risks countries, such as Afghanistan, Iraq,Syria, Iran, etc., as well for other foreign citizens in process of approval of permanent residence and persons representing threat to the security in BiH. In all these cases, the Law on protection of secret data is being applied.
At the end, Director Ujić had thanked to the Delegation of Joint Commission for Supervision of Work of Intelligence-Security Agency, and support in work and developments of Service, and expressed confidence that this meeting has contributed to better understanding of issues regarding to migration in BiH.
