On 17 September, 2024, the inspectors of the Service for Foreigners’ Afafirs continued to carry out intensified activities, and with the assistance of members of the MoI of Sarajevo Canton, in Vratnik, they carried out an inspection of a residential building that was illegally used for accommodation of foreign citizens.
On that occasion, a total of 10 citizens of the Republic of Turkey were found who illegally used the mentioned accommodation, and who were prosecuted in accordance with legal procedures.
Also, on this occasion, the members of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs issued a measure of expulsion and placing them under surveillance, to the Immigration Center in Istočno Sarajevo, for two citizens of the Republic of Turkey who can be linked to the organization of illegal accommodation of the mentioned persons, and illegal stay in the territory BiH.
