Service for Foreigners’ Affairs identified illegal work of foreigners in Tešanj

On 19 September, 2024, while conducting regular operational activities, the inspectors of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs carried out control of the work of foreigners in legal entities

With the assistance of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica - Doboj Canton – Police station Tešanj, in the area of ​​the Tešanj municipality, they controlled 22 foreign citizens, of which 8 citizens of the Republic of Turkey were found to be employed without an issued work permit and approved temporary residence in BiH.

The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs will take all legally stipulated measures against foreign nationals, as well as against the legal entity in which they were employed.

Also, the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs will continue to continuously implement measures and actions within its competence with the aim of preventing the illegal employment of foreign citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina
