On 15 October 2024, Director of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs, Mr. Žarko Laketa, together with the directors of the police agencies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended work meetings in Austria, organized by the Director of the Federal Police Administration of the Republic of Austria, Mr. Michael Takacs.
During the meeting, Director Laketa had the opportunity to visit the Süßenbrunn Police Training Center, the Handelskai Police Station, and the Police Dog Unit.
We particularly highlight the demonstration exercise the Austrian river police, which provided a valuable insight into their operational capabilities.
This visit additionally strengthened the cooperation between the police agencies of Austria and BiH in order to improve security measures and operational readiness.
