Director of the Service for Foreignersâ Affairs, Mr. Ćœarko Laketa, his associates from the Service for Foreignersâ Affairs , the representatives of the Ministry of Security, paid a visit to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Zagreb, and met with the Ambassador, H.E. Mrs. Nour El Houda Marrakchi.
This visit further strengthened the cooperation that is existing for a years, between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Morocco, in the field of migration policy.
The meeting discussed the improvement of the existing procedures for checking, and determining the identity of Moroccan citizens who reside illegally in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as modalities for further information exchange. The Service for Foreignersâ Affairs, in cooperation with the Moroccan authorities, is working continuously on establishing more efficient procedures in order to enable the voluntary, and, if necessary, the forcible return of foreign nationals to their countries of origin.
The results so far have confirmed the success of this cooperation, enabling a significant increase in the number of identified persons, and accelerating return process.
