IMPROVEMENT OF THE SFA’ S WORK WITH SUPPORT OF EUROPEAN UNION AND PARTNERS

We are proud to announce that the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs, with the financial support of the European Union, and the implementation of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), implemented a significant project of procurement of new uniforms.

Director of the SFA, Žarko Laketa, pointed out that the new uniforms are a symbol of modernization, professionalism and dedication to our work.: ‘I am proud that in such a short period of time, since I took over the leadership of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs, we have managed to implement a project that will improve the work of officers, and strengthen the capacities of our SFA.’

This project is the result of successful cooperation with the European Union, and special thanks  to Mr. Karel Lizerot, Head of the Department of Operations for Justice, Home Affairs and Public Administration Reform, and the IOM team for their expertise and commitment.

The solemn ceremony was attended by representatives of the SFA, and inspectors for foreigners from all Field Offices, which further emphasizes the importance of this project.

We continue to work on further projects in order to ensure the best possible work of the SFA, and respond to all the challenges of the migration situation.
