The Special Adviser for Police Agencies of EUFOR and officer of the French Gendarmerie , Mr. Fabrice Gruter visited the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs. On that occasion, he met with the Director of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs, Mr. Žarko Laketa.
Director Laketa introduced Mr. Gruter to the basic competencies, organization and way of working of the Service for Foreigners ‘Affairs , especially emphasizing the importance of this institution in the field of migration, control of the legal residence of foreign citizens, as well as in the implementation of measures that contribute to security.
During the conversation, the importance of mutual cooperation, exchange of experiences, and strengthening of partnership relations in areas of common interest was emphasized. At the meeting, the willingness to improve cooperation between the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs, and EUFOR in the coming period was expressed.
