The meeting between Director Laketa and Police Attaché  of the Embassy of Republic France in BiH

On January 31, 2024, the Director of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs, Žarko Laketa, together with his colleagues, held an important meeting with the Police Attaché for Internal Security of the Embassy of the Republic of France in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colonel of the National Gendarmerie, Philippe Gangloff.

At this meeting, Mr. Gangloff introduced a new associate, Ms. Marie Linne Mourel, who will perform the function of migration liaison officer.

This position aims to improve cooperation between the Republic of France and Bosnia and Herzegovina in matters related to migration.

Mr. Gangloff emphasized the importance of this cooperation and expressed his satisfaction with the possibility of strengthening ties between these two countries in the field of migration, while Mr. Laketa also expressed his satisfaction with this meeting and emphasized the readiness of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs for further cooperation.

It is expected that Mrs. Linne will contribute to the improvement of the exchange of information and best practices between the Republic of France and BiH in the area of migration, which will result in a more efficient and better coordinated approach to this issue.

This meeting represents a step forward in strengthening the cooperation between the Republic of France and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of migration and shows the commitment of both sides in solving this important issue.
