The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs is an administrative body that operates efficiently and economically with the aim of establishing an efficient system of controlling migration flows on the territory of BiH.
SFA Competences
The responsibilities include inspection and control of the movement and residence of foreigners, conducting administrative procedures to resolve requests for residence permits for foreigners, placing foreigners who are illegally residing in BiH under supervision, and deporting/returning foreigners who have been issued with a final decision on removal.
SFA Mission
Our mission is to implement effective and efficient control of the movement and residence of foreign citizens, reception, supervision/accommodation and removal of irregular foreign citizens, while contributing to the security system of BiH in which citizens will feel safe.
